My son, Ben (age 16) began taking drum instruction from Scotty as a novice. The progress he has made in just 10 months has exceeded both my expectations and my son’s. Scotty has a tremendous depth of knowledge and experience. Ben describes him as meticulous, observant, tenacious, inspiring, and a focused and clear communicator. He thoroughly enjoys his time with Scotty, and every week says they had a ‘great lesson’ followed by much unprompted practice. Our family attended a performance of Scotty’s recently and, after picking our jaws up off the floor, really understood what an exceptional talent he is.
